MER Acquires Water Recovery, LLC (WRI)

1.19.2011

Moran Environmental Recovery, LLC (MER) is pleased to announce the acquisition of Water Recovery, LLC (WRI), a centralized waste water treatment facility and used oil processor located in Jacksonville, Florida. As a provider of integrated industrial and environmental services, MER has long recognized the benefit of having cradle to grave control over the non-hazardous waste waters generated by MER's broad client base. Water Recovery has demonstrated a long history of excellence in both regulatory compliance and financial assurance. "This is an outstanding way to celebrate our 10 year anniversary," remarked Water Recovery's founder and former President Steven Jenkins. "A well executed business plan has been realized through the efforts of MER, along with numerous company employees, regulators, and business partners. We believe this business model has and will continue to benefit the community for years to come.

The transition to MER will be seamless to the client base. Greg Reynolds will remain in his capacity as Vice President and General Manager of WRI. He will oversee all aspects of the operation, and the facility will continue to operate under the Water Recovery brand. MER President and CEO Brian House commented, "We have formalized a strategic partnership that has previously earned the confidence of our clients and regulatory agencies alike. Moving forward, our goal is to assist Water Recovery in the pursuit of new opportunities, not only in Jacksonville but in an expanded southeast coast marketplace."
