MER, MassDEP, and U.S. Coast Guard Join Local Agencies in Spill Response Training Exercise off Ram Island in Buzzards Bay

On Thursday, October 22, 2015, Moran Environmental Recovery (MER) deployed a protection strategy around Ram Island, which is located in Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod, MA. As the attached linked article explains, Ram Island is a very environmentally sensitive area. This deployment was part of the MassDEP's GRP development and testing program. MER along with its response partners Nuka, Smith Marine, and Avwatch, coordinated all resources to deploy MassDep and USCG response assets.
