A collection of large-format images showing Alaska's northern coast, from the Beaufort Sea to St. Lawrence Island, was on display at the Alaska Marine Science Symposium in Anchorage, AK, last week.Arctic Impressions

"Arctic Coastal Impressions -- A Photographic Journey along Alaska's Arctic Coast" shows the work of the Alaska ShoreZone Project, a partnership of more than 20 public agencies and conservation groups intended to make an "inventory of the biology and geology of Alaska's coast" through photos, video and digital data and information available to the public.

CORI team was involved in the ShoreZone mapping for this project and helped organize this successful exhibit! The Arctic Impressions exhibit should travel soon to a few villages in the North.
